After a short test drive and an inspection, this 247 transfer case has to be removed and rebuilt due to internal failure. This is a full time 4WD vehicle, it is only 2WD at this point. The front driveshaft has no power being applied to it from the viscous coupler. The fluid running out of the fill plug is dark black, it should be almost clear. The Viscous Coupler has failed and the chain is stretched badly.
